Getting Started
What is re-entry, and why does it need support?
Re-entry is the process of returning to your home culture after living or serving abroad — and it often comes with its own kind of culture shock. Many global workers underestimate it because they expect "home" to feel familiar. We help you navigate that transition with clarity and support.
How do I know which phase I'm in?
Take our short quiz to find out — most people fall into Preparing, Landing, Grounding, or Re-engaging, though it's normal to feel like you're between two.
I'm not a missionary/global worker — is this still for me?
Yes. We're expanding our services to support others navigating similar transitions — including expats, military families, and worldschoolers.
Coaching vs. Cohorts
What's the difference between 1:1 coaching and a cohort?
Coaching is personalized, one-on-one support tailored to your specific situation. Cohorts are small groups of around 6 people walking through the re-entry process together over several weeks, with shared curriculum and community.
How long does a cohort last?
We've found our sweet spot is 12 weeks, though we sometimes offer shorter cohorts as well.
How much do coaching and cohorts cost?
Coaching runs $65–$75 per session, depending on the coach's experience. Cohorts are $350, and scholarships are available.
When's the next cohort starting?
Check our Find a Group page for the current schedule.
